It should be corrected. And when they are enabled, but not in use, they should sit there quietly, of course. I'm sure they are aware of the problem, and will be issuing a patch soon. I then re-booted and installed iTunes from the apple site. That didn't work either. I was able to get rid of the apsdaemon error, but now everytime i start my computer and when i start itunes it keeps asking me if i want to choose itunes as my default player when ive done it 10 times already and it keeps running an install for something i have no idea what.

The time now is Maxine Replied on March 5, I also do not have any iTunes or Apple on my Windows 7. The same thing happened to me yesterday and today and so far I was not able to fix apsdaemon.ede. Did this solve your problem? And last time I hooked it up, 3 or so years ago, it still worked too.

I tried apsdaemon.exr update again, and it didn't work. Its just itunes hasnt worked right from day one i got my ipod. I still don't know if it's important to have on my cpu or not.

apsdadmon.exe The exact same thing happened to me. Reply with more information to help you better. You can do this within Windows, or there are various utilities that make it easier.
If you need a Winsock reset, you'll probably have more problems than just iTunes.
